Margielyn Didal is a Filipino professional street skateboarder from Cebu City, born April 19, 1999. She first tried skateboarding at 12 after watching local skaters near her mother's street food stall. Didal won gold in women's street at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta, becoming the first Filipino to win an Olympic discipline-adjacent gold in skateboarding, and won two gold medals at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games. She competed at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, finishing seventh in the women's street finals. Time magazine named her one of the 25 Most Influential Teens of 2018. She did not qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics after falling short on qualification points while recovering from a 2022 foot injury.
